Nights of Longing

Nights of Longing

A Poem by Michelle Chiafala
"

I would carry the spots you have touched within the threads of my skin and read them like braille.

"

Curse these walls that surround me,
and the miles between us, too.
My body aches from my fingers
all the way down to my toes.
I need your hands on me
if only for just one night;

I would carry the spots you have touched
within the threads of my skin
and read them like braille.
