Gash

Gash

A Poem by Michelle Chiafala
"

If you were to look inside, her heart would appear the same.

"

She’s down on her knees,
the stones and pebbles below piercing her white skin;
just like the gashes starting to form there,
if you were to look inside, her heart would appear the same.
