I look at this as more of a disgrace than a saving grace.
This blinding white light shining into my eyes disturbs me. Ever since you came into my life, there have been no more black shadows. Only white shadows illuminating the once dark and dusty corners of my haunted heart and memory. Should I be thankful for this? I know I should. I look at this as more of a disgrace than a saving grace. I don’t think I want to be redeemed.
interesting piece...could be having a heart redeemed and the speaker wants to wallow in darkness...stay in the dark shadows...or redeemed in a religious sense, but again the speaker refuses...
sometimes we just want to stay where we are...we thrive on pain...for some it might be the only way we write...
or it may just be that we no longer trust...and expect the light will eventually turn to darkness so we don't want to be teased..
