Storm Summoner

Storm Summoner

A Poem by Michelle Chiafala
"

All of this for you.

"

I conjure the lightning, the thunder;
they are the symphony of my heart
cracking under the weight of you.

I summon the cinereal clouds
that are my burdened eyelids.
I wrest the water to descend;
my lacryma blankets the land.

All of this for you, and yet
you will never return to me.

It's so heartbreaking and lovely to picture such a bittersweet love. It's a beautiful poem, one able to be sent to anyone.
