Sea of Bitterness

Sea of Bitterness

A Poem by R.Ivan

I watch you ripple from

A distance. I throw in

Heavy rocks.

You suck them in

Your waves crash

On the shore, but it

Never rains. You don’t

Care that you’re emptying.

I stand where your water

Meet the land.

Can my tears ever refill you?

Ooo, nice discourse. Definitley adds another dimension to the piece, I like it! Love the lines about the rocks, and also enjoyed the last line. Looking forward to reading more from you (:
