Jewels

Jewels

A Poem by R.Ivan

Tear open the vector of night, and

Delve into the silver vein to

Harvest dawn"

Orange rotunda reflecting on the

Crisp water"

The tensing muscles of morning cold must be

Welcomed and only

Mocked in a whisper.

Blue glow blanket, wrap up the sky

For when else does darkness

Sparkle?

Douse the lamps.

I will excavate jewels from the
Corners of my eyes.

A gorgeous morning on a boat. Nice use of colour [blue glow blanket]. Hopeful and anticipatory for what is to come.
