They've abandoned her.
Left her for dead.
Her body aches of solitude,
Lips tremble with addiction.
She bids farewell to the long lost sobriety they pulled her out of to begin with,
And now she's drowning again.
She is broken.
Mauled to pieces by the unforgiving,
Shattered by the unwilling,
Stripped of whatever held her together.
They dragged her courage across the floor,
Shredding her trust with their teeth.
She remains as broken love,
Sprawled across the floor.
Unflinching, unmoving.
All thanks to the boy who stole her heart.
Decay snakes its way through her,
Mascara streaming down her decrepit face.
Her bones splinter with horror,
Muscles scream in agony.
She feels uncomfortable in her casket.
Do you see what they've done to her?
LOOK AT HER.
She can hardly move.
Hollow words escape her vocal chords.
She exhales life itself.
She does nothing but lay there.
She didn't even show resistance.
She lets them trample her,
Smash her face in to the ground.
And she doesn't care.
She'll get back up,
Dust herself off,
Only to let it happen again.
She is heart broken.
A shell of what was once stunning
A beatless heart molded by rough hands,
Out of empty eyes flow abandonment.
The dead walk among the living.
