time rhymes

 

Step by step by step,

 

was, is and will be,

 

what we had, what we have and what we want

 

 

have you gone?

 

are you there? or

 

will you go?

 

 

Tic as past flew away,

 

tic away

 

all those year month and day.

 

 

Tic, as now becomes

 

so real;

 

for now we have

 

to deal;

 

Tic as tomorrow come

 

so near;

 

Tic, in the future

 

do not fear.

I like this poem, i feel like a clock is ticking in the back of my mind when i read it lol! I love your end lines of 'I fear not tomorrow, for I have seen yesterday, and I love today.' its like the opposite to a saying of mine yesterday was today, tomorrow is today and today never happened... its great to know that people still live in the moment of today!
