metamorphasis

just poem comparing a broken heart to a transforming butterfly.

i watched you fall in love,

you're a caterpillar,

eating, enjoying, savoring

your first love.

 

then,

it is over.

i watch you go into your cacoon,

you become sad

and alone.

 

then slowly,

you begin to change,

stronger and stronger

you become everyday.

one day you will become,

a butterfly.

one day

i will watch you

spread your wings

and fly.

one day

you will be free.
