When i look inside my heart

When i look inside my heart

A Poem by MBUYISA

When I look inside my heart

In silence of the night

I see someone who loves

Very deep beyond sight

But in sight, love in disguise

When I look inside my heart

All alone in the dark

I see shelves full of files

Files of secrets and all the lies

When I look inside my heart

In my prayer when I bow

I see life lived by sword

Condemned by the Lord

When I look inside my heart

I see hope for the light

But every day I miss the mark

To live right and be Christ-like

Thank you, I appreciate that.
Mmmmmm I like this poem Mr TK. The last line where it says"Every day I miss the mark to live right and be christ like" that really touched me. Its amazing how we try to be perfect but we always fail to reach it, but thanks to God because salvation is not by work but by having faith to Jesus Christ. I was really inspired, its a very nice piece.

We are always going to be our own worst judge and critic.Sometimes we feel as if we have failed at being the person who we wanted to be .

This is so beautiful and divinely inspired! So true...we miss everyday to be more like Him. This was an awesome read for me. Thanks for sharing.
