Knights

Knights

A Poem by marybeth davis
"

everyone dreams for a knight in shinging armor but here is my verison

"

he stalks the night

as if it is his prey

and he is the blood thristy

he sees the stars

as if they have been together

for centuries

he waits the day away

he sees the light as a enemy

the world itself preys upon him

you see him as a nasty

unforgicin soul

but I

I see him as the

perfect verison of life

the world will never become

You take the shadows and give them flesh, and here his life becomes a powerful force.. So vivid and stunning!

I am not sure where you were going with this ...the analogy of the night and knight is a really interesting concept and I think you could really taken this to another level...currently it doesn't gel for me..

He rides a white steed,
To your rescue he comes
But just who he is .........just what the truth is, well you will know in the end.

Oh wow. Very dark Marybeth.
I like it!
I see "him" as the very deffintion of gray. Neither good nor evil, but both.
Very blurred. Nice write.

Makes you sorta wonder who "he" is...
but it is a devilish write..metaphorically speaking
