Right

Realizing the times I was to caught up in trying to be right.

I knew everything about life
I had it all figured out
But so did you
Therefore we were both right

But always we thought the other was wrong
Harsh words on bitter tongues
But we were the only victims
Because we thought the other was wrong

Tears shed for the pain
And we blamed
Because we could not be wrong
We had been hurt by one another

Then life came and changed us both
We too late saw the damage we caused
The apologies never escaping our grasp
For now we realize we both were wrong

I love your writing so much also because i relate to it. Sometimes I get so prideful and even if i'm considering their opinions, i never considered their feelings and i'll only realize it at the end. It sucks a lot because sometimes apologizing is never enough.
