Ghost

There are many things you do not know.

And you only believe what you can see.

 So you don’t believe in me.

Of this I know.

 

I have always been solo.

Ever since I fell out of that tree,

People have always let me be.

So I just let it go.

 

I do remember how I died,

And I am fading.

I need to tell you.

I need to tell you how they lied,

And to show you what they’re hiding.

For it does involve you too.

 

My death is something they wanted to cover up,

For I bet it is an accident.

I remember how they bent,

With tears in their eyes I had to look up.

 

They told me there was a lump,

And how there was a dent,

But I had already went.

And their emotions were like a dump.

 

They did lie,

And I don’t mind,

But there is something you need to do.

Time has gone by,

And they you need to find.

And that is all I want you to do.

 

Tell them that it is ok.

Tell them that I have moved on,

And that I am gone.

And letting go is something that they may.
