Darkness

Darkness

A Poem by Mark Best

Night is as night should be,

Deep dark and still.

Darkness blinds and darkness binds,

But still light burns and makes it blue.

Doors open and doors close,

Shedding light where darkness falls.

No light is pure,

No darkness eternal.

Each day ends when darkness calls,

Each night ends when light shines through.

All through time, an eternal fight.

There will always be light where darkness falls.

i like how it edges on the whole "light at the end of the tunnel" thing, which is inspiring.

I like the way it ends, "There will always be light where darkness falls." The feeling those words give off just fill me with emotion. Good work.
