The Archer's BowA Poem by MiR
He named her Sarah
for her slender-like form for her grace left in motion and loyalty born. He christened her name eclipsed in her curve and polished her tine to further her serve. In the hands of her master she proudly faced battle she bore competitions and never fell latter. She obeyed his command and was faithful and true for he named her Sarah for reasons he knew. He was proud of his craft in his hands she had breath and the bowman kept Sarah till the day of his death. *For anyone who would like to further understand the context behind this poem, please refer to the 1950 film “The Black Rose” as that was this poem’s inspiration. If you still don’t understand, rewatch the film. :)
