Symphony

Symphony

A Poem by Madhur Batra

Absolutely different
She's the only one that sings
The seagulls squawking
The insects chirping
The lions roaring
The gazelle gracefully running
The dog barking
The wind, through the trees, blowing
The ocean, through the shell, rushing
Stop and stay quiet,
Hear Mother Nature's finest

ah this is great. I tried to write about nature being a choir the other day, but this poem captures the essence of it in a clever way. my favorite line is the one about the seashell.
