You get average.

At least you built bridges.

this poem is awesome man. It has a bit of humor in it that gave it a nice stylish touch. the repetition really makes the reader really think: "wow, that is very true for each of the examples." It sort of has that message of: at least mediocrity is better than nothing. great poem.
