Stroke of Luck

Stroke of Luck

A Poem by Madhur Batra

The perfect girl is always in my dreams
Flowing black hair and big brown eyes
Walks with a grace that could make a swan stutter
Every time I see her, she makes my heart flutter
Pictures say a thousand words but they don't do her justice
I can't sleep at night, she makes me so restless
So bright, makes other beauties pale in comparison
Her face is so sweet, so innocent
But with that devilish look, she could make someone go crazy
But she only appears in my dreams
I wish she would once come out in front of me

this is really good. The only parts I would change are the first and the last line. the first because its impossible to describe the perfect girl but then you do it in your poem. the last because it skews the scheme by being so short.

other than that this poem was great, it had very vivid imagery.
