Shadows

Shadows

A Poem by Mary Bradley
"

My scribble

"
I've walked on this path forever
Searching for your shadow between the trees
Hearing your laughter coming at me
Still , no real you .
You've left for awhile
My life now is silence
Neither songs nor tears .
I'll keep looking on this grey path
For the love I've once hath .

You have such a smooth style, it seems like it comes 2nd nature. Yes, that love once
had now not, so many go through this pain in life. Thanks for writing such a nice
piece, b-blessed!

Thank you Jamestown :-) ... I appreciate you read it . Have a good day .
This perfectly captures one of the situations that the vast majority of people have in common. Time passes but the imprint is left just the same.

My review is a bit different. I liked your poem but i think it's sad (personal opinion).

Thank you for the review all the same :-) ...yes it's a sad poem
A lost love and a heart wanting.

That always seems to be our backstory.
