No woman needs a man's love to be complete.
There is no such thing as love at first sight.
They only think they're in love when they meet.
Some do feel they have to have a man in their life.

They are wrong.
We are stronger without men than ever.
It won't be long
Before we girls unite together.

And crush all things male.
They think they can push us around,
But when all else fails, they will bail,
But us we will stand firm and hold our ground.

We will stick together.
We will be strong.
If they can't now, they won't ever,
But they will be wrong.

it's called the "Daddy syndrome" when a female feels she needs a man to be happy in life. Yeah I know plenty that fell victim to this...but with time and maturity..they will hopefully become wiser..discover their self worth...and find strength to have their own identity separte from that of another.

I am very protective of my family and some of them feel they're incomplete without being in a relationship so get what you're saying but the hatred towards "men" in general... Why do all the jerks out there ruin in for the nice guy!

I guess the writer has encountered maltreatment or torture from any male in her life which encouraged to write the lovely poem.Eve teasing or sexual harassment is
a common problem across the world.The girls who do not like unnecessary male domination and want to avoid being toys in the hands of playful boys may suffer from mental agony.Some of such girls may be vocal and protest in some manner.
Others may burn themselves in their heart in bear the pain silently throughout their life.However,by expressing their feeling through poems,songs and stories may be a good way to release the anger which may also give them some comfort.
I congratulate Maize for writing such a nice rhymed poem that has entertained me by its beauty and content.

I was a little girl when I wrote this. All I knew about love and boys is that daddy said boys were bad. You can only trust your daddy.

Hmm.. feminism. There's anger in there. I'm an out and proud lesbian but I don't hate men. They still have their part in the universe. Of course I can live without them but I wouldn't be here without a man. I mean it will still depend on the situation. I think the audience tend to generalize the poem. And I also think your poem was rooted from your personal experience but then I could be wrong.

But for me, this is a work of passion. Nice job!
