Gone

Gone

A Poem by Mazie Tackett

I lost my home,

and don't know what to think.

Scared and alone;

helpless and weak.

Emotions not there.

My heart now sunk.

Life's not fair.

My world now shrunk.

Disaster won't stop.

Fear won't go.

At the top,

then dropped so low.

Everything's gone crazy,

out of my control.

I've now lost Mazie,

in a deep black hole.

Darkness surrounds me like the plague sometimes, I know how you feel. You just have to keep fighting it back and in the end you might just win. The poem's flow was very good, though. Another excellent write.
