Misconceptions of a hopeful mind

Misconceptions of a hopeful mind

A Poem by Mayukh Das

The church bell rings,
The Nightingale sings;
Everytime everywhere,
The crazy little things;

Misconceptions of a hopeful mind.

Golden sunset drenched in rain,
No, there is no pain;
Home sweet home,
Down that narrow lonely lane;

Misconceptions of the hopeful mind

The child has his toy,
No, it ain't no ploy;
beneath the streetlight,
Blind man dancing with joy;

Misconceptions of a hopeful mind.

But,
The child doesn't know
Dark truths and sarcasms,
His mind refuses to grow;

He stands beneath the starlit sky
And he wants to fly
All he wants to believe,
Are the misconceptions of a hopeful mind.

About
he didn't want to float high; neither did he want to hit the bottom,... all he wanted was to sit beside that old tree under that azul sky and dream about things that nobody cares about. more..
