When I die.

When I die.

A Poem by Maylea
"

I don't even know...

"

 Who’s going to say goodbye?

Who will hold my hand when I die?

Can’t you hear me…

Whisper in your ear?

I’m calling you love

I’m calling you sweet

But you’ve turned and walked away

Without a promise for another day

You’ve left me with nothing

To hold on to in the dark

I used to reach for you

Dream our love was true

Dream anything

But you’ve left me with nothing

So who’s going to say goodbye?

Who will hold my hand when I die?

It's a wonderful concept, and this poem is a great rough draft.
But that's what it is.
Go over it again, make it a little longer, and add some depth.

It seems to be lacking a lot of that.

It has the potential to be a great poem, it just needs a little work.
