Outside My Window At TwilightA Poem by RosemaryPlease read..especailly if you like Thriving IvoryAnd I lift the window with all of my might, I stick my head out of the window, It's twilight and its pink, I hook my feet on the window sill and pull myself onto the pointed roof, I stand there, the ocean wind on my face, And the string orchestra strums on, And the red brick mansion under feet sat, And the long grassy plain with the old wooden fence swayed slightly, I smiled and never wanted this dream to end, This house was always in my dreams, I wished I lived in it, The big mansion on Rumson, Down the shore were my Grandma lives, I drive past this house almost every week, And I listen to my favorite song, I wake up and i smile. I go to my window and move the curtains, I can swear i see the house in the dark, And I'll show you what it looks like, Outside my window at twilight.
