MusicA Poem by once upon a time
It's all around us, isn't it? Fills our heads, fills our minds.
Fills our ears every time, We put those things in our ears and it's all we can hear. It's just a series of words put to a beat, 1,2,3 1,23 That's all it is. But it's more than that. When it fills our ears, it fills our souls and never goes back out the other end. It is a solution to the countless problems that we encounter every day, The countless feelings we can't seem to escape. It's a solution. What else do we need? 1,2,3 1,2,3 Yet we judge, And yet we pry, We must know, We have to know. What is this? What is that? You really like this over that? Must we judge? Must we pry? Must we know? Does it really change the way we feel? Is it really going to make you leave. New words, new tune, new meaning. All it is, is a series of 26 letters, Strung into millions of words to create billions of possibilities. Just 26 letters! That's all this language is, That's all anything is, Just a series of something smaller strung together to create the big picture Isn't that all we are? Just a series of smaller beings strung together to create a city, a country. So, why do we judge? Why do we pry? Why do we lie, Just to avoid people that are judging and prying. Why should we have to hide? Yes! I like this better than that! You like that better than this! Why can't we find something better to fight about?
