We will never beA Poem by once upon a time
I thought I could be your friend
Closer than sisters Could ever hope to be. But then we came to a road with a bend Our whole lives pulled up by a twister Spun around, then dropped to the ground We'll never be who we used to be. I'll still think of you now and then How we'd always say sisters before misters How I'd pick you up Whenever you fell down But you just left me to fall We will never be What, perhaps, we never were. Perhaps it was time to end To late to mend What could never have been Maybe we were half sisters Or maybe i never needed a sister We were never bound At the hip or knee I guess, we will never be What, perhaps, we never were. © 2013 once upon a timeReviews
