A Beggar

A Beggar

A Poem by Mayank Chaudhari

I saw a beggar living better life than me
He was hungry, he wanted food or money

I saw myself begging for someone
I was lonely and I wanted love or affection

At the end of the day he got some
While I saw myself having none

And I realized he got what he needed
I got sympathy instead of what I wanted
