ive lowkey been stalking your writing for like 15 mins, its so good and this one is relatable af too LMAOO. i literally just got off a huge break after graduating & now im back into routine at uni. already miss bed rotting tbh
this rhythm is fire, it reads almost like a rap. it is a lament, and all the emotions are viscerally expressed, but wrapped in a drowsy, sing-songy voice. this phenomenon psychologists call avoidance -- which isn't completely unhealthy -- is one that many nowadays are turning to, trying to cope with a stressful world and the place that feels safest is alone in bed. in other words, you are the voice of this generation.
I had to look up what the definition of bed rot was and you completely summed it up but on more of the negative side of rotting in your bed for ages.
The line " I can't remember the last time I got up" and "I think I'll lay here for a while" are beautiful, and I find when you repeat you always repeat three times, and it works for you every time, I've missed you, I won't lie, since I know your internet has been out, but you always come back with something better, great work, princess.

I'd like to leave my mark somewhere, and hope it matters, maybe my words reach someone, and if they do, then that someone will know I was here.
