For User Does Not Exist

For User Does Not Exist

A Poem by maya_online
"

The thought that you would never be hard to find blinded my senses, leaving me raw to the truth that you could be.

"
For *User Does Not Exist*.
At one point
you did.
At one point
your laughs were the only
thing warming my dim heart,
and if I knew love then,
I would have loved you.
I knew you only for a while
but I think I knew you well
I knew your favorite color
and the way you looked
when you were
nervous, especially
when I said your name
and your lips would
twitch and look at me
but now that memory has faded,
and gray, dull like my
poor, poor heart, because
at one point you
did exist, I know.
You changed me,
something in me at
least. If this isn't
love, then why did my
heart fall because
you don't exist?
I hope this finds
you well, and if it doesn't
I hope it finds you in
some way at all.
Though I know you must be
dead, because if not
you'd be here
your lip twitching
as I uttered your name,
as I said *User Does Not Exist*.

I feel like I could have presented this better, but this is just to speak on how on the Internet, once a person is gone from the Internet, they are dead, or how simple it is to ignore someone who loved you, how simple it is to be in love one day and disappear the next.
