-A Poem for You

-A Poem for You

A Poem by M. B

Beauty cannot
Be described with words,
It's like a pearl kept
Within an oyster
That has its own shape; own size;
Own twinkle on its translucent surface.

Beauty is a wave,
Cascading and rolling over each other,
Gripping and dragging shells
As it resides back into the sea.

Each and every star upon the waters- that twinkle-
Are meek accessories
That only guide the eye
To an allocated area;
yet the true grace, the grace
That can outshine a million more
Pearls; emeralds; gold;
Is what is hidden beneath.
Where each insecurity
Is a perfect flaw:
Diamond amongst silver;
Truth amongst lies;
Quaint, white shells amongst charcoal pebbles;
Flowers amongst sprouting weeds.

Each -
Is a beautiful danger -
Stationary on a porcelain surface,
Gleaming in joyful sadness.

Grace can outshine the Sound of Silence,
That twists and turns, tormenting troubled souls
Which became lost.

Yet the beams of a morally beautiful spirit
Steers away
The silent screams from Ill Health,
Or from Worry and Fear and Silence.
Shining through the tinted cathedral windows;
Or settling on the burnished waves like the Sun rests
Its broad head upon it.

Where the Ocean's echoes
Are such as if one
May not find comparison
On this Earth... .
