Pieced Angel

Pieced Angel

A Poem by Max Rwizi, Jr.
"

This piece seeks to enlighten people about how abusive relationships affect people

"
She was an angel with her wings as white as her purity but you came and plucked them off just to show her how dangerous men can be.
You used her like a tissue to wipe off your insecurities and dispose like nothing ever happened.
Echoes came down from her lips as she was telling you to stop but your belief that you are superior was just too loud for you to listen.
She fails to remember what being a woman feels like because the pain you caused her, clouds her thoughts.
Now, she is like the moon because she only comes out at night so people can't shame her of what you did to her.
She is a diamond but her beauty is lost in the pain that you brought upon her.
She is a pierced angel.
