Holding On

Holding On

A Poem by Maximillion

As my arms holds her tightly she falls to sleep. As she dreams in my arms her head lays silently on my chest.I wonder what she is dreaming about. As i gently kiss her on the forehead she smiles. As shes opens her eyes i stare at them as they sparkle.I think to myself do i deserve her.As she asks me why are you staring at me.I say because you are the most beautiful girl that i have ever seen in my life.

You create a very nice scene with your words. I like the gentle statements leading to a very good ending. Thank you for the excellent poem.
