And A Thousand Secrets Of The Past Crawl Out From Their Hideouts.A Poem by Maxwell M.oh what our dreams can do.i've just come to say.. that we followed everyone of these unscathed paths. we saw green fields with their hands up high, traveled to barren places with faces sunk in. buried ourselves with sweat of sun and sea, we climbed out of places we only heard in our dreams.
but we came, because you needed this. you lost it on your way. we traversed space and time dear friend, only to be lost on our own with no light. but we came, because you needed this.
i've just come to say.. we didn't know what it was. you chartered our ferry from long, long ago, only to bring us to this place. there are no green fields here, just the stench of greed and wealth.
but we'll climb again. from those places we only heard in our dreams. we'll bathe in what we know to be honest. our place in the shade. and still we came, and still we came.
