Historia Abscondita.

Historia Abscondita.

A Poem by Maxwell M.
"

different sides of future demise.

"

"and now a statement from the department of fear.."

we're only running on steam!

but we're alright now.

can you see,

can you...

maybe we underestimated this!

maybe we didn't take this to mind!

i won't die here.

oh but they will!

they will!

we can survive!

but i won't die here.

here sir.

here is where we make our stand.

what are you doing!

you'll get us killed.

this is no longer a game!

i never signed up for cat and mouse.

what are you so afraid of!

i'll...

i'll miss you all.

we tried to correct our mistakes.

but we worked to no result.

fortunately for us..

we won't feel a thing.

"and in other news, a statement from the department of hope.."

i won't be taken alive!

you godless heathens!
this can't be real!

i won't be taken alive!

i'll die here or nowhere at all!

just tell them we're sorry.

for what it's worth.

we tried.

for what it's worth.

they can ruin our names for an eternity .

for what it's worth.

atleast we have our hopes.

Well, there's the overlying theme of a last battle in a... more primitive war, l'm thinking, but the underlying one leaves for a bit more thought. l'm not a philosopher, and l never will be - l'm too blunt, perhaps too easily bored - but l found this intriguing. l did see a running idea of battling our weaknesses - the concept of department of fear, the refusal to have hope "depart". l dont' think l'm going to try and go any deeper, because it is, quite honestly, beyond me (at least at this point in my life. lol), but as the read itself...its' quite intriguing. makes me question things, perhaps.
