Do we not feel the breath of empty space?

Do we not feel the breath of empty space?

A Poem by Maxwell M.
"

when you feel your end right behind you.

"

claws rip through skin,

like a plow in the field.

i've only just lost my way.

they come out, to feed on your fears.

but can you defend yourself, from

what you can't fight?

i've only come out to see,

i've only come out to see it.

the rebirth of a dreadful night.

they'll know you by your scent.

but since when did you, get so bold?

you've gotten stronger, it's by the minute.

i was torn up by you, and they

keep coming out as if the circus has just hit town.

but i'm distraught, lost in it.

simply distraught, lost in it.

they start at the nape, of your rose colored neck.

deiciding on where, would fit best for them.

but out came a light, bright as your soul.

only to take them, down below!

only to shout at the night,

"oh what did you believe?"

that i would meet and end

or that you would rise above it all?

but they come out at night.

we'll try to keep them at bay.

they come out at night.

we'll try to keep them at bay.

About
Well it's been a while. I had found that writing on the computer was making my writing feel a bit..strained. So I'll be doing some experimenting with both pen and paper and this wonderful iMac. Let's .. more..
