In the still of night,
The moon shimmers bright,
Illuminating the tranquil pond,
Where crickets respond
With a chorus of song,
Their voices prolong
Into the midnight air.

Fireflies dance and glow,
Like tiny sparks that show,
In the inky sky,
As the flowers sway
to the melodies played
On nature's serenade
