DismemberA Poem by MavA poem about Ed Gein, the inspiration for the movies Psycho, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Silence of the Lambs
Had she been able to make a call
Before I hung her in the hall
I hadn’t known she had a cell
She could have, but oh well
As I approached she began to flail
Beneath her feet I placed the pail
I touched the blade to my tongue
It is quite sharp and kind of stung
Her eyes widened I guess from fear
As the knife came slowly near
The flesh slit by the shiny blade
Down her body a bloody cascade
As the blood dripped off her toes
She jerked and juked in her death throes
The body now at last was still
Her blood the bucket it did fill
Carefully poured in plastic bags
The date I wrote upon the tags
Into the freezer to later use
As I prepared my famous stews
From the body cold and bare
The skin removed with utmost care
Entrails placed in Tupperware
The liver fits with little room to spare
Her other organs I save as well
From outside I here a yell
This is the police let us in
I turn to the door and kind of grin
Through the tunnel under my house
I scurry away like a mouse
Oh, no you can’t catch me
I’ve always got a way to flee
I popped up down the street
Laughing now this is sweet
I have my bounty in a sack
On to the next place don’t look back
Again I’ve gotten clean away
Escaped the jail one more day
Another victim soon to find
But not until I have dined
