And as the moon abandoned the sky, Darkness swept the light. What was a town of noise and buzz, Now a roaring silence blast.
I sipped as the sweet aroma suffocated the air, Waited and lingered long on this chair. Lost in words, looking for anything to share, In love with how the pen dance with flair.
Failed to unearth a thought to write, Black and white, everything collide. Numb is the mind there's nothing to craft. Still I indulged once more until the last ink drop.
Palms and hands are throbbing in pain, Letters pouring down the vein. Ideas to quietness has drained, A blank canvass without anything to paint.
Black curves fell in a fathomed hole, Lost in lines, not a word to say. Hunger for a piece strike the soul, The heart wants but the pen won't convey.
Wrote this on a moonless night, while my eyes searched and wandered for any inspiration and instead I came up with this. Reviews are more than welcome ^_^

Lover the irony in this piece.. Amzaing that you can make something this artistic when the subject matter is essentially artist's block..
I prefer the line
Failed to unearth a thought to write,
Black and white, everything collide.
Numb is the mind there's nothing to craft.
Still I indulged once more until the last ink drop.
'And as the moon abandoned the sky,
Darkness swept the light.
What was a town of noise and buzz,
Now a roaring silence blast.'
Wonderful! Who can write like this without having a flair! You have got that thing.
Terrific write about a stifled creative process! I especially loved the following lines:
"I sipped as the sweet aroma suffocated the air,"
"A blank canvass without anything to paint."
"Lost in lines, not a word to say."
"The heart wants but the pen won't convey."
NOTES: The Courier font isn't an easy one to follow. I actually surfed onto this page when I saw a post about it, but back off again because of the font; it's just too hard on my aging eyes. I came back to it because of a couple of there posts about it from folks I know here who had good things to say about it. I world in print publications -- in design -- and Courier is almost never used because of the way that font face tracking and character spacing works. Times New Roman, Palatino, and Georgia are the preferred serif font faces for bodies of text in publishing.

I'll keep that in mind, thank you. I truly appreciate it :-)
I am from a distant island, far from the real civilization. English is not the primary language here, although they teach it in school but grammars, pronunciations and the like are still a problem to .. more..
