Walk

Walk

A Poem by Mirra

Walk on the smooth, straight road.

Showered with a sunlit day,

Where haze of colors reign the sky,

Where zephyr sweetly kisses

your rosy cheeks,

Where earth comforts your feet.

Where animals play, trees dance,

flowers bloom - nature

sings one melodious tune.

Where there's no faces of blue.

Where every mite smiles at you.

Walk. Go forth.

Walk on the boggy land.

Drench beneath the pouring rain.

Where nature sleep in fear.

Where the angry sky dims

everything.

Where every drop rips you apart,

Stain, mark, scar - at last.

Where the wind lacerates every touch.

Where to soul, sorrow is kept.

Where earth halts every step.

Walk. Go forth.

Walk on the boundless desert.

Under the piercing heat of the sun.

Where endless horizon is wandered.

Where sweats and tears conspire.

Where my body desires to fall,

my feet craves for a stop.

Where nothing stands but I.

Where life is uncertain.

No earth, no heaven.

Yet, I'm alive.

Walk. Go forth.

Walk. Go forth.
