I wrote this a long time ago. When I experienced love and heartbreak in high school.

Love seeks, Love ponders

It kills us inside yet it conquers

Love hurts, Love knows

It makes us cry yet it grows.

Love gives, Love begets

It breaks our hearts yet it forgets

Love moves, Love proposes

It gives us light yet we lost in its darkness.

Love is hot, Love is cold

Sometimes it's patient, sometimes it's bold

Love is soft, Love is tender

It gives us moments yet not forever.

Lovers ache, Lovers lie

They throb in pain yet they smile.

Lovers laugh, Lovers tumble

They weep in grief yet again they fall.

Love begins, Love ends

Love builds, Love gives strength

Love is red, Love is grey

It can make life or take it away.

Sundry meanings it encompass

Countless names one can cast

Spell it right, Spell it wrong

Love is love, Love is strong.
