Heaven's RainA Poem by MirraYour every single drop cleanses, purifies and soaks me in the deepest pit of chalice - my soul, my very being. Pour down, down with the frosty wind. Pour down and wash away this daub of sins. For I erred, I erred to the divinity, to my fellow kin, to nature, to everything. Stream down, stream and quench this curse of a man. Stream and help me cross the threshold of cloud nine. I have sinned countless times - in this bittersweet jaunt of life. Now rain! Rain down the valley of mortals, for you are the guise of His forgiveness. © 2014 MirraAuthor's Note
