Fraction of Infinity

Fraction of Infinity

A Poem by Mirra
"

Inspired by Smiles of A Broken Heart by Quil.

"

An interlude of rosy air

That comes unseen, when seen is gone

Unearth in a passionate lair

Every sweetheart dove looked upon.

This innocent sentiment core

Ruptured a shedload of hearts

For eternity it will rule

Will tie more aquited darlings with red scented knots.

The fallacy of temporary bliss

Blinds every light and sees every darkness.

A marvel only true in dreams

A lovebird's illusionary nest.

That cupid's gift to fallen seraphs is a curse

With many nightmares it has left

To every dying soul in carved sepulchers

Only heard is the wailing voice of repent.

Every splotch, every drop of tears

The whole story unfold

When finally to the eyes everything clears

The fraction of infinity was told.

Again! You have done it again!!!!!! Brilliant. I'm green with envy. I've always wanted to be able to rhyme in me poetry... still haven't figured it out. HA. Anyways GREAT job.

I loved the part:
"Will tie more aquited darlings with red scented knots.

The fallacy of temporary bliss
Blinds every light and sees every darkness.
A marvel only true in dreams
A lovebird's illusionary nest."
