Where Have You Gone?A Poem by MirraThrough the chilly hours of darkness I sat and waited in forlorn Why, as of old one does not linger long in the forest. You'd come home early, that you have sworn.
Misty fog filled the air But I still sat hoping to hear your heavy stride The thought of you leaving me, that I could not bear May the road clears wherever you ride.
I Uttered prayers to prayers Wishiing it will help you find your way Does the road to you and I dissenter? Oh please don't go astray.
The moonlit night shined on my face As the gleam tears drop The sky covered in smokey haze Can this nightmare now stop?
Trees danced, waves played The wee small hours is drawn near Every single star glimmers like jade Where have you gone my dear? © 2019 MirraReviews
