Autumn Leaves

Autumn Leaves

A Poem by Matthew Webb

Autumn Leaves

Those lovely coloured leaves dance on by

As if to a melody

They join with the sky

The orange the green those reddish tint leaves

They all bear the colour of that autumn sheen

But as night goes longer and winter draws close

Those leaves begin to shrivel utmost

The lovely colours turn to brown

The warmth has gone and its cold all around

The autumn has vanished

And as the air starts to breathe

I take my leave

With those autumn leaves
