Catch me

Catch me

A Poem by Matthew Webb
"

This is a poem I have written its a little bit dark but I hope you all enjoy it anyway

"
Falling from grace one final time
The red in my mouth is the saviours wine
The black of my eye
Moulded by your fist
Everyone thinks I owe them their wish
I am not a genie
But yet a simple man
Who has made mistakes
Like only the recovering can
But maybe the hand that pities me
Could save me one more time
If I'm passed towards the devils hand
At least I'll be free
For the pitiless to catch me
