One Cliché After Another

One Cliché After Another

A Poem by Matteus Ducey
"

the title says it all.

"
innocence long gone. a burning hate inside. this is the me you never knew, although you never tried. though, i can't say i blame you. all i ever did was hide myself and everything. but it's all because of you, you took away my pride. no matter the right, to you it was always wrong. quite frankly, you're the reason i wrote this s****y song.
no matter what i say, it will all be cliché. no matter what i do, it doesn't matter much to you. no matter how i feel, to you it isn't real. no matter how i act, to you it's always crap. no matter what i see, who cares it's only me.

thanks and yea i know, this one is a work in progress. i posted it because, if i didn't, i know i would have forgotten all about it (like i do with a lot of my lyrics). and i love metallica. thrash is one of my favorite forms of metal.

You need to work this one up a bit more maybe. It's not as strong as the previous two I looked at. But the spark is there. it put me in mind of some metallica lyrics. I know you may not like them, but they do have so cracking lyrics.
