The Ballad of Cthulhu

The Ballad of Cthulhu

A Poem by Matteus Ducey
"

a stupid song i wrote when i was bored one night.

"
Cthulhu will rise, Cthulhu will haunt, Cthulhu brings forth all that's distraught
with rotting tentacles, the oracles of sorcerers past, Cthulhu shall rule the universe vast.
the elders shall weap by the prophecy's keep. not even abdul could predict such distruction.
none but lovecraft could have such intuition.

he know, he wrote, i sought, provoked.

how could you forsee this would happen to me? father enki send the watcher to protect me!

devoured, eaten whole, i carveth the bowl.

master enki of the magical waters, annu and ennil and all of the watchers - i call you forth to
bannish this beast. i sacrafies my self, on my flesh you shall feast.

the aga-mass soratu i place in the center of the alter for the ultimate sacrafice paid to a
lifetime of slaughter.

i burn, i die, your turn - tonight.
