ABCD

ABCD

A Poem by elephant

An angel bating barbed desire
A treat
a taste
a thousand heart breaks
To take?
A silent debate
For fate is my doom
My love I swoon
A chance
A whimsical dance
A hook so deep I must die to get free
I trust that the barbs will cut smooth
And the pain will be burning but temporary
I am wary of angels too angelic
For I have been scarred by such barbs
Broken before
This angel war of bated heartbreak
I will once again bare to take
A pathetic love state
Elate then heartbreak
A melting circle of ecstasy pain and finally distain
