I was mad now I'm not

I was mad now I'm not

A Poem by elephant

Wide eyes bellow silent cries
Tensioned expressions suggest lives unmentioned
A question for a question relays a circled direction
To a land of disguised eyes and false faces
Saturated by lovable lies and plastic skies
So green it has to mean I am in a movie scene
Or a play that no one knows is underway
A secret set with actors that were paid to forget
I am scared to be too aware
Its is not fare my life is a dream a meaningless scene
A scheme of intricate scenes all sown or woven to resemble sunsets and great sex
A mix of effects designed by the petrified drones of fallen cities
A nice mess for stylized mice
A sumptuous shell
A plastic hell
I am alive in a beehive
A dry and sterilized world
A forest of twisted steal and concrete fields
This automated space an air-conditioned hamster wheel
A church of depravity denial and swindling preachers
Worshiped by millions of creatures bowing in stadium bleachers
A sad spectacle of prophets profiting off of easy prey those who praise and pray
Are too easily swayed away
Willing prey goes gay to a side of blinding light disguised as right
A light so pure and white that night might bring fright
But staring into a sun of pure nothing has burned millions forsaken and blind
I am proud to walk alone in my home
For I possess my opinion I can tell you this is right and be proven wrong
I can tell you this is wrong and be right I love this argument absent of any illogic
The mind will loose too faith a weight so great it bends hate into great then dictating fate
