oh lord

The Sun is drifting up
As our time is winding down
As my eyes leave this ground
To meet your sparkling blues
I know that I’m in a dream
And that you’re too good for me
A star with a shadow is not meant to be
Get along to another sweet heart
Believe me and leave this road
For mediocrity and prominence doesn’t exist mutually
Not here or ever so leave this hopeless endeavor

But be mine and your beautiful I love you its true
I changed the strange conclusion of us
I know mediocrity can survive beside prominence
So stare lovingly into these dark pools
As I gaze hoplessly into your dandelion blues
As we Kiss and twist tongues suck air from joined lungs
Love comes and goes but I can’t ignore this mystery that is us
